San Jos Province divided and Pavanatma province was formed on 4th June, 2006. Jyothibhavan was formerly a formation house of MSMI and it was blessed by Bishop Mar Vijayanand Nedumpuram. It is situated in the Sawanghi Meghe 5 kms away from Wardha and near to the national highway of Nagpur- Amaravathy and was transformed into provincal house of pavanatma. It is in the diocese of Chanda. From the very inception of the province the ministry of catechesis of the villagers remains one of the top concern and priority. It has always been the earnest endeavour of the province to discover new ways and methods to seek fresh opportunities in order to spread christian faith. The day of pentecost is celebrated as their province day. Holy Spirit fills them with zeal and sets their hearts on fire to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in the mission areas. CMI Fathers and Claritian Fathers provide timely assistance for the growth of the province.
They do their apostolic activities in 8 states and 12 dioceses in India and abroad. Former provincial superiors Sr. Starly, Sr. Elsy Vadakkemury, Sr. Immaculate and Sr. Elsy Vadakkemury contributed somuch in their term of service for the spiritual and temporal affairs of the province. At present Rev.Sr. Lionsa with her council animates the province.
