Jordania retreat centre (JRC) is in the parish of Nedupuzha 7 kms away from Thrissur railway station. It comes under the jurisdiction of Mary Matha Province. It is the interest of Mr. Davis Thatteel Cheenickal who participated and received rich experiences in the retreats conducted by Msgr C J Varkey and sisters agreed for the erection of a convent and a retreat centre there. On 6th April 1996 the building of the retreat centre was blessed by Mar Jacob Thoomkuzhy, the Archbishop Emeritus of Thrissur. It is a centre for residential retreats for about 200 persons. Adjacent to the centre there is a perpetual adoration chapel and Anna Maria Old age home which is built in memory of the beloved mother of Msgr C.J.Varkey. Sr. Amal Therese MSMI is the present coordinator of this centre.
